Did you notice that the cars in the shots without the sky in the image look brighter & better exposed? This shows how the subject can affect the exposure & why manual keeps me worry free:

Wish I could have gone, had too much going on this weekend. Were they being strict about getting access to the photo boxes?

i missed that before...i do shoot in manual...honestly if the subject is a little underexposed but the sky is brilliant...i can deal with that...i guess what i need to do is slow down and take more shots at varying exposures...ill work on that

S2k,

Did you shoot these RAW? If so you have more then enough latitude left to brighten the exposure on the cars and balance out the image. If you shot JPEG then not much room left to play with.

yes i always shoot raw...i did process them lightly...maybe my eyes are going they look good to me...any shot in particular? i can give you the raw file if you want and maybe you can process it yourself and show me what you're talking about...if you want

Well as photoguy mentioned some of them seem a bit underexposed right where the cars are, but nothing crazy. You could probably easily do a selection on the cars were you have a lot of sky and bump up their exposure's a bit to make them pop.

If you want to shoot over the RAW's I would def take a look at them and see what I could do. What would be the best way to send the RAW's though?

i dont know if they are too large to put on imageshack...if they are do you need the raw file or would a tif be ok? i dont have access to them right now tho...ill post a link up later to a couple let me know which ones
