hello all. yesterday i bougth a powershot a95, and the most interesting thing for me are macros!
my old olympus used to give me nice ones... but was all point and shot.
now that i have this one, i see the first pics and they are horrible! the autofocus thing is getting me mad cuz i don't know how to use it very well now
i guess i need the adaptor and the macro lens, but i live in argentina and nobody seems to import them
take a look at my first pics, and tell me suggestions on how they can be better without the adaptor+lens ( i know this is very important but i just want to experiment)
thanks!

help help help help me please! :)

I do alot of macro shots with my A95 without any extra lense. What works for me is putting the camera in Av mode with macro on, adjust the F number to 8.0, make sure the camera zoom is all the way out (no zoom at all), and last, use center focus (not AiAF). Here's a sample shot from last month: http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

You seem to be having a serious issue with depth of field. Try using the aperature priority mode of automation (Av), with the aperature set to f8 or smaller if possible. This should improve you depth of field. Also, try to avoid too much distance between foreground and background; even at maximum depth of field, there is only so much that can be in focus short. A small aperature means a slow shutter speed, so a tripod woud be an asset.
