This is a shot of my nephew & niece using only window light. With my niece's portrait, I had my 4yr old daughter hold up one of the kids books with it open to bounce some light back for fill.
I just recently got the Canon 85mm f/1.8 and this is a quick shot using the new lens. Can't wait to put it to full use.

These are both really well done to my eye - very pleasing lighting and great color. I think that these turned out quite well.........surprised you did not get more comments on these.

Nice shots... The first works better for me, but both are nice... The new lens is obviously working

Thanks for the comment. The lighting was great at my brothers house. Been there many times, but first time I ever noticed the great lighting.

Excellent! What type of lighting were you using? Strobes? OC flash? Natural?
Either way, amazing clarity!
[EDIT]I failed to read carefully, as you posted what lighting you used! Awesome work!
