I've read somewhere that you can change screens in EOS 650, but I want to check.

I have a question, when you put one of these screens in do you lose your other focus points? If your camera, say a D60 has three focus points or 1V has 45 points, do you lose these and the AF only uses the center spot?
Don't mean to hijack your thread, but i wonder the usefulness of these screens if you lose your focus points.

you dont' lose the focus points, but prism screens can interfer with metering... especially spot/partial I think.
*don't know for sure, never had one. :)

This is the Canon EOS Digital SLR forum. What kind of camera is EOS 6xx?

I dunno... it's not terribly off topic. Up intil a week ago we were discussing tripods and heads in this section.
Could you point me to a better place to ask this question?

It depends on what type of camera it is. If you ask nicely, one of the moderators will have a good idea and move it there.

650 is a film body, SLR. A pretty nice one too. I think the EOS 5 replaced the 650.
