This is my first time doing belly shots (actually, I'm a total newby at portraits and photography in general). I did the whole shot with the nifty fifty with diffused sunlight.
For both pictures, I softened the skin in PS. Photo 1's colour was punched up with lab and I used Gradient to turn Photo 2 to B&W. I wound really appreciate any constructive feedback. Thanks!

These are quite beautiful :) the only thing I can think of would be to turn the flowers in #1 towards the camera where the center (if yellow or some other bright colours) can be pointed towards the viewer, right now it seems to be just laying and rather lifeless, very good job otherwise :)

I really like number two. A real good mood and the colour toning is great. Agree about the flowers in #1

I like #2, it has more emotion or better yet it brought out more emotion in me. The 1st one my eye were drawn to the fact her top was pulled up and looks messy maybe a sports bra would have been better. She is very beautiful.

Very good point about the flowers, Michael. Things you don't think of when you're concentrating on all the other things! I guess that also comes with experience.
I do agree with the top as well, rebeler. She didn't have anything else so we tried to make it work. I think since the top is a little blown out, it helps reduce the shawdows of the folds of the fabric (a little). Maybe I could reduce the shadows of the top further to make it not so 3D. Thanks for the tips!
