A great day out in Yorkshire for the rescheduled Riponian stages rally, the event was won by Charlie payne and Craig Thorley in their Mitsubishi Evo WRC Step 2, amazing that the car was heavily damaged the week before on the Malcolm Wilson rally and Mark and the lads at MSR Motorsport reshelled the car in 4 days.
1. Charlie Payne in his newly rebuilt Mitsubishi Evo WRC

The light on the first shot Ian is about as perfect as you could ever hope to get. An absolute cracker.
Where were you lurking for this one ?
I'd say Boltby. There's a shot of Amanda Cornforth on Ian's website, and she never made it to us in Roppa. If it wasn't Boltby, then it must have been the early part of Roppa.

Good shots Ian. The Evo & Mini are cracking. Good to see the classics out and the MK1&2's couldn't resist giving a wave.

Tidy stuff Ian. You guys get all the good stuff up there! #3 stands out for me, like the angle and details on stones being thrown up at the camera :)

#1 and #3 for me Ian, superb stuff. As Simon mentioned the lighting in #1 is absolutely perfect, and the DoF on the Mini shot really makes it pop.
All the best,

Thanks, apart from sharpening a couple of them had a few minor tweaks, a tiny bit of +brightness and a touch on the clarity slider. (All processed through Lightroom 2)
