What's not that good? The photo or the paychecks?

Photo is a neat concept, probably the only way a person can keep their money:lol: during TAX season.

Work on the concept; lighting, DOF, crisper bills etc.

Depth of Field. The actual depth of "in focus" items in your shot as compared to out of focus items.

On this shot your fifty is in focus, sharp. the 20's leading up to it are coming into focus.

This is good, as you are leading up to the big bill, and the eye will follow this flow.

Depth of field varies by exposure rate, which is controlled by f/stop and exposure time. The higher the f/stop the less amount of light and the faster the shutter the less amount of time for that light to strike the sensor and create the image. This will prevent the non-focal points from having enough time/light to sharpen up (very simplistic answer).

There are many good threads here, and references to other web sites, to learn these processes. use the Search function in the tool bar.

Look into photography classes in the continuing education of your local community college or high school for a class. These will help you with many different issues that can happen when shooting.

Keep shooting, and learn something new every day.
