Well what a difference a week makes - virtually drowned in Greaystoke last week and sunburned in Roppa this week!! A great days racing in Nth Yorkshire, well done Ripon Motorsport Club. Good to see Simon & Geoff in Roppa. Hope you enjoy the selection - I've tried Capture 1 for the conversion so any C&C would be welcome, thanks.

Whatever you have done with Capture 1, has unfortunetly given your pics a green cast.

Hmmm. Main adjustment is with custom white balance with slight adjustment on exposure and highlights. Can't see cast on mine although I've not yet calibrated the monitor. Any other feedback would be useful.

Not sure about the green caste bit, maybe just changing the white balance would warm them up a tad and get rid of any.
Like the pics, good and sharp, and like the space the cars have and lack of distractions.
Good work kipper .
2, 4 and 6 for me.

I don't know whether you have altered them since you posted them but they seem fine to me, no signs of a green cast (although don't take my word for it) Really like the one of Baz Jordan, the one of Hemmingway would have been my top pick but I think there should be some more room on the left hand side. The photo is a good shot but with the rocks etc being kicked up I feel it would have been better to be able to see them.
Cheers

Thanks Pons. The lack of distractions were due to the fact we walked as far away from the main carpark as possible in Roppa. The effort was worth it though as the cars were flying. I use the CBL white balance tool so I was happy that that side of things should be ok. I've not had my 1d mk2 and 120-300 siggy for long and have been getting to grips with the settings which may still need some fine tuning.

Cheers Ian.I've not yet altered the shots yet, just waiting to see what the consensus was. They're as framed in camera with just some exposure/highlight adjustments in Capture 1. I agree the about the Hemmingway shot but just thought the colours were better than the one I got in College Moor and it's a cracking car. Appreciate the feedback.

I don't see much green cast (monitor not calibrated) I like these shot of the stones flying from the Escorts. was considering getting a CBL tool do you think is is a good investment?

CBL - I believe it does help my workflow and is reducing my time in front of the pc doing pp. I spotted Simon H using one and the colour in his pics are always spot on IMHO. I found the link below useful.

I calibrated my monitor again last night and the problem must have been at my end. They look spot on this end now.

Cheers. There were no other reports of a green cast. I had doubled checked on the laptop and seemed ok. I've managed to calibrate my monitor now so hopefully that'll help out things also.
