I am using a Digital Rebel with an EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM. How do I get rid of the yellow and green tint when shooting indoor sports?

manually adjust the white balance to the appopriate lighting that's in the gym. Or make the color corrections in post processing.

I assume that you are not shooting raw. If you are then you can set the white balance quite easily in post processing. If shooting .jpg then using a custom white balance should do it.

Your best bet for that kind of lighting is a custom white balance. You can use white paper/card, a coffee filter or a grey card. After the fact correction can be done by adjusting the white balance in the raw converter if you shoot raw and you can make further adjustments in Levels or Curves. In Levels use the grey eye dropper to set a middle grey point. That helps to eliminate a color cast. Keep clicking around neutral grey areas in your picture till you get what you like.

Thank you. I will give the coffee filter a try!
