Out of all the shots I took while at Olympic National Park (Hurricane Ridge, to be precise), I find it ironic that my favorite is a still life of a synthetic object usually not associated with the great outdoors. Surrounded by sub-alpine flora, breathtaking views of mountains, I opted instead to open my glass as wide as it could go and isolate this single chain.
Taken with an 85mm f/1.2 II on a Canon 400D (xTI).
