Just looking on the net & found this site.

http://www.photography-jobs.net/index.php

Just wondering if anyone has heard of them before & dealt with them submitting photographs.

If you can earn some extra $$$ with your photographs where else can you put them besides stock photo sites.

Any comments appreciated.

Subscribing!

My quick reading of the info they 'publish' is that this was a microstock operator but I wonder if they are the stock equivalent of the insurance "screen scrapper" sites i.e.an agency!

IMO there are too many claims of earnings and not enough details of how those earnings are actually made. I await with interest other more experienced input & feedback but as the saying goes "if it sounds too good to be true then.........."

Same exact site.
They have protected whois search results (an extra paid service that prevents the public from knowing who owns the domain name)
Immediately that throws up red flags...
There are no phone numbers or address' available in the contact info. Another red flag.
The email address is an anonymous gmail account. Another red flag.
Unlike iStock or other familiar stock agencies, I see no way to purchase product from them.
another red flag.
I would not deal with them at all.

This looks like a scam to me. In the FAQ section it says something about a one time only charge for membership. What kinda legit stock site charges for membership?

http://www.gamingjobsonline.com/images/img3.jpgAfter finishing my college degree, I decided to rest for awhile, during this time I was able to have time again playing games, when I saw your site I gave it a try and thank goodness I tried, coz right now I no longer need to look for a job, as I already have the perfect job! Thanks to you I earn more being a part time game tester compared to a full time and boring 8-5 day job.

I'm assuming you mean micro-stock sites and not the ones like Getty. I know on my site I can make a few thousand or nothing a month. During some months I know I will either make a good chunk or get nothing, depends on time of the year. There's a few people I know of who do well on micro-stock making 1K+, actually one of them was just featured in USA Today because one of his images made over 5K on istock. Problem is they want to make you think anyone can do that, when in all reality most people are just getting pennies for a lot of work.

Even if it wasn't a scam, look at the "highlights" and you should be able to tell it's a joke of a deal. Pay to submit? Yea, sure buddy...$0.50 an image? Again, no way. Everything on there falls under the "to good to be true" and anyone with common sense would know this. Which makes me wonder, how many w/ no common sense have signed up?

Common sense?

As the saying goes "the trouble with commonsense is that it's not too common...."
