Hi All.


I have been watching all your great work now for about 9 months, and now think it might be time for me to take the plunge... I had a great morning on Sunday...looks like I may have been spoilt a little with the weather and event for my first real rally outing.

Please go gently...but be honest (only way to learn)

All taken on 400D with 70-200F4L

A great first post, Some lovely shots,

Number could have been my fav as the angle is great, however a little blown out at the top and oof.

So my fav has to be number1 for its sharpness and the co-drivers face expression. Well captured

No1 for me also. As per Elvis' comments some shots oof. I normall shoot TV 1/320 f8 ish, on AI servo, which keeps some motion in the wheels. I'll drop drop the speed on slower corners or go up if i'm shooting head on. Using the ISO settings I try to maintain the f8. Try also to pre focus on the spot where your going to take the shot. There's pleny of good info in the motorsport tutorials.

Thanks for the advice, will have a go this weekend with those settings at Croft.

I am only really happy with number 1, but did not want to put just that one up as it does not show the level I am really at.
