View Full Version : At Last....My Riponian Stages Rally Shots

Finally goy my shots sorted from last sunday's riponian rally in yorkshire,had to re-process the raw images as they didn't look right the 1st time with lightroom,so tried again with camera raw (still not entirely happy with them),what do you people think,do they look right to you?
Anyway,had a great day.....managed 4 stages in all

#4 is little soft but other than that the series is great. I really like your framing style :D

as above,one of the big draws of rallying for me is the stunning scenery in which it takes place,so i'm trying a bit more lately to include this in my shots :)

WB looks a little off to me Pete

Some lovely shots there Pete, #1 and #3 stand out for me. Is that an ex-works F2 Golf?

Tend to agree with Ant that they do look a tad warm though.

I think the golf is one of the old SBG cars from when Alister McRae drove for them?
Yes i think you're right about the WB,i have re-processed them.......again & this looks more representative of the colour on the day

#1 is my favourite shot from the rally,you can usually rely on mr procter for some spectacular driving! :D

You should recognise #3 & 6 as they were taken on the entry to you're straw bail chicane shots in roppa ;)
#1,2 & 5 were all taken at the next hairpin left.....just from different angles,entry,mid corner & exit!
#4 was taken at junction 10 in wass
#8 was junction 7 & #7 is between junctions 8 & 9 heading back up the hill :D
