I had to move a couple of suet feeder from the trees to a hanging feeder because of racoons feeding every night. All the usual suspects started feeding immediately at the new arrangement but I have yet seen any of the creepers eat.....will creepers eat from hanging suet feeders?...I see them at the old tree locations and am starting to feel bad for them......thanks

Creepers eat bugs from the bark of trees. Most bug eaters will eat suet. How about smearing some on the bark every day? Small amounts they can find and eat, maybe too small for the coons? Worth a try.

that's sort of what I figured....thanks...it's a pleasure reading your posts/responses on this site...you always have great ideas and are helpful to all of us....I picked up a 400 5.6 yesterday...wish it had of been a 600 but then the budget of a retired soul doesn't allow for such. I'll experiment with a 1.4x this afternoon...yesterday, I had pretty good focusing, even at f8....thanks

With the 400/5.6, next purchase should be a 1D MkII. Only 8.2Mp, but it will autofocus that 400 with a 1.4x on it and shoot at an honest 8 frames a second. And you can't beat that body anyway. As a retired person, I am still saving for mine. :)
