These are VERY cool birds ... incredibly intelligent and 'playful'. They nest in burrows and have a reputation for wrecking the trim on peoples cars as they visit the Glacier! I also got some great shots of them at the Fox Glacier and it was raining then.

NZ is an awesome country to visit ... even better if you live there :D I'd move in a shot!

Great shots! The feather detail is terrific. I've never seen one before, only seen their names on Motorhomes!
