Great shots, Alan! I notice he's banded. Is this a wild bird, or did you capture him in a sanctuary somewhere? Not that it matters, it just caught my eye. :D

Yes he's wild.It was the same with a couple of the Blue tits and the robin.Must be the in thing with the birds,to look more sexy'er when displaying to a mate

A good job here Alan - they're nippy little sods aren't they?

Very nice shots. I know I'm not the only one thinking this, but I thought this was going to be a Charlesu photo ;)

You are really making me want that 20D.

Looks like a female. I've got a mate who is a bird ringer and it is amazing to see those leg rings going on, so bloody fiddly.

Lovely shots Alan, though they do seem a little noisy. I hope you don't mind but I took #1 and applied a little noise reduction in PS to give a more "creamy" bokeh. Do you like it?

Hi guys, I just wanted to know what bokeh is ? :)

Foxbat - No i dont mind  .The reason its atad noisey is because i think it was shot at ISO 800.I could of done the noise reduction thing, but the little noise did'nt bother me.Thanks for doing it anyway.

Dandaman_24 - Just ask the same question at www.ask.com.Have a read all about it ;)

SWEET! Hoot! Hoot!
(Yes, that means I quite like it.)

I do like the less-noisy version, I must say. Very nice shots in any case.
