Dphotomania,
I love your macro pictures, in particular the last three. What are your parameter settings? are this right out of the card sort of speak, no PS? I want to get the same detail on my 20D, I am about to purchase the 100mm f/2.8 USM, but I am not sure what is the difference between the 100mm f/2.8 and f/2, if you know please let me know.

Hate to tell you this, I was using the 85mm 1.8 for most of these pictures, my wife uses her favorite efs 17 - 85mm. The goose shot was with the 100 - 400mm. Theres no Macro lense involved.
I did run them through PS for white balance adjustment, color adjustment, and sharpen it a bit. No major work on them. Took no more then 1 minute a picture. So the photos right out of the card is great already. I just make it better. I call it steriods for photography!! :p
The differents between 2.8 and 2.0 is the dof, and you can use the 2.0 in a darker room, because you have a couple off more f-step work with. The lower the f-number the blurrer the background looks. So I guess thats why you think I am using Macro lense?
Hope this helps

Yes, it looks very damn good. I am in the process of getting a macro lens so I am shooting for the 100mm f/2.8. I enjoy photographing small things, primarily flowers, plant life. Thanks for the info.
