Busta Rhymes, Showcase Live, Foxboro MA, 16Mar09

[Compact Diss]

First, it was great to meet Coppatop, a fellow forumite at the show....

I was a huge Hip Hop person back in the day, used to DJ and so on...Busta's music was obviously a big part of it...it was nice to see one of the legends of the Hip Hop game....if you have ever seen Busta, then you know his shows are all energy.
Like he said during the show "we got hits", and he does...

This was my first concert using my new 50D...

These were some of the worst shooting conditions I have ever seen. The light (the small amount there was) was a red/magenta color which is always hard to shoot in. There was a ton of fog which sometimes can trick the focus. Busta was moving around a LOT, and usually very quickly, there was no real pit, he said we could only shoot two songs (though pretty much everyone ignored this), and he is african american (I always found it a little tricky to expose correctly for their skin, especially in bad lighting)

You did a great job, especially considering the conditions. I really havent even had the chance to look at my shots yet, very busy! It was nice to meet you as well!

As for Busta being too old....

You know, I thought that myself while looking at the pics. The audience on the other hand, or most of the kids in the front were probably half his age....music for the young, he is still making hits, kids want to hear good Hip Hop, his new song is doing that for him, once his current hit started playing the audience roared, no one there was complaining....

And...he hasn't had a day job in what? 20 years? I'd switch with him in a second....

Hmmm, the name sounds familiar, but I don't know what I know him from anymore... How old is the guy? I think it's pretty difficult to say from these shots. He doesn't seem to be really old though.
