But not those sort!

The lighting was tricky, the room was very dark with the lights on their lowest setting and using the flash was not an option when your wife is trying to endure more pain than should be possible. So, ISO1600, f1,4 and some photos to remember the experience by.(I did put the camera down to help her out of course but during the "I wish I had never met you, we are never doing this again, don't touch me" phase, I decided to keep myself amused. ;)

Very nice set and CONGRATULATIONS! I love the shots and love the name Luke - as that is my son's name as well! I think that the shallow DOF in these shots really works well otherwise you would potentially have some pretty busy backgrounds....

You were allowed to bring your camera into the delivery room? I'm impressed... My wife was afraid I might take a shot she would forever regret, so I had to wait until babies were born. Nice shots. Hope he and mom are doing well!

Great job documenting the moment. My wife is due in July and I can't wait for the day. This will be our 2nd. One 4yr old girl and now a boy, woo hoo.
