Love it...always loved how when they took that picture to show off one of the canon camera...that is one of the pictures that sold me on the Canon cameras. Good job...oh, hope I can be able to take a picture of that bridge one day.

That is a very nice looking bridge. Why don't they have architecture like that in the US?

The US has some fine bridges, The Brooklyn Bridge is a fine piece of architecture. I was very impressed when I saw it. Also hope to see the Golden Gate one day.

I was going to say something similar. We've got amazing bridges here in the States. They're just taken for granted by most people who live here and travel them every day. That said, nice shots! you could stand to level the horizon on the second one, though.

Great shots. It is beautiful. Now the stupid question. When was it built? The craftsmanship is unreal.

It is not as old as it looks, it was opened on June 30, 1894. It is a steel structure with stone cladding, there is a ton of information here :-

Well I live near the Golden Gate. Yes nice bridge and I'm sure the Brookly Bridge is too, but it just doesn't have that old, intricate, castle looking architecture.

Nice shots Gnasher, the sky looks great. I took some in Jan, but I didn't have a nice blue sky to play with.
