Welcome to the forum first of all...

Second of all, it'd be a lot easier to see them if you picked your top 8 and posted them here as a lot of people will not click links and looking at 428 images is just too much (note 8 images is the forum limit). Also the ones on your smuggie account are small and hard to critique.

honestly, why would you EVER put up so many pictures with so many near-duplicates? choose your best stuff and display that, you'll get more respect from both people here and your customers.

yeah, choose your best 8.

195 is real good, i'd like to see the full size.

Night shots are tough, but I would agree post a few on here..

I looked at your link real quick and even though you have 428 pics it was rare to find one with a frontal view with a face. They also seemed a bit dark but again it is tough to do night shots.

Also what lens did you use and what was your settings? I am asking as I have taken a few Lacrosse at night and I am new to it as well. So I am learning the same!

There's the rub, 4-5.6 is near impossible at night. I have difficulty with a f2.8.

Looks like someone found the contrast slider.

Just because the game is at night doesnt mean the pictures have to be dark. Generally speaking, sports pictures look best with the least amount of toning. You want to make them look true to life.

good point AdamLewis I will turn my contrast down. any other on camery tips?

Welcome to POTN.

As a rule, shoot tight, crop tighter.

Get your exposure up, take care to color-correct, and get faces w/ball in play whenever possible.

Here's a well-shot example:
