It's a nicely exposed sharp shot; but.... the girl on the right is a distraction, the crop is too tight (you can't tell what's going on) It would be nice to see the kite. And, what's he doing? Surfing in sand?

Yes, I see that the girl is a distraction. Thanks for that. But I'm at a loss. Can't tell what's going on? The kite is pulling him onto the ocean, and his weight is forcing him into the sand. Very dynamic, made more so by the diagonals created by his body and by the board and rigging. I though that even if one hasn't seen a kitesurfer, there are enough clues to fill in the blanks. Perhaps I'm wrong. A shot that included the kite wouldn't have the intimacy that this has, IMO.

Great Capture! If anything, I might like to see a little larger crop. As far as the girl, I think she would be a little less distracting with a larger crop, and furthermore, I like the juxtaposition of something so intense going on seemingly close to such a simple and innocent action, such as playing in the sand.

Nice shot, Getting a good kitesurf composition is hard work due to the kite being 27m away from the rider!
If you got down v low behind him and get the kite in while he is skidding toward the sea would make a much better shot but i like this anyway! I like to get in the water with the kitesurfers and get them jumping over me but i am luck y to live next to beach with very shallow water so its easy!
Would love to see some more of your kite pics :)

I shoot a lot of kiteboarders, and its hard to get the boarder and kite in the photo without being in the water.
