These were shot with one 580 into a shoot thru umbrella.I'm pleased with the shots, but do question whether my framing and composition was correct ... what do you think ?

I love them! Especially the second one. The composition of the first one, I'm not so sure about. Otherwise great shots, and great processing as well!

I left this alone for a couple of hours, thinking somebody with more experience would say this - Pose number one doesn't look natural at all, it looks awkward.

I love number two, though = )

I'm not a fan of tilted shots. It looks like she's going to slide down the corridor. Rarely do I see a tilted shot when I have to admit that it works better that way. That's just my opinion.

It's funny how even tho the captures are tilted, she is bending her way to be seen vertically. I assume you planned that.

I really like #2 as well.
Good use of your creative eye.

#1 - I rather like this one, the tilt in the frame and the girl's stare directs you to the opposite tilt which makes the photo levelled, the model's body tilt however feels bit awkward.
#2 - try shallower dof for it, I'm assuming this is model photography and not art photography, the background elements are rather distracting, I'm keen on suggesting moving camera up a bit, looks too levelled to the model.

That's just me being picky though, I do enjoy these pieces :)

great location, both have the weird vertigo tilt environment CCW and subject's body leans CW

Works for me in the 1st one, not so much in the 2nd one

#2 shadows on the face (esp the one thrown by the nose) is distracting

Overall good shots though.

Thanks for the comments from everyone on this.

She's a great model and strikes poses in an awesome manner without direction so it was just left to me to frame and shoot once the light was setup.

It seems alot is down to personal taste on the tilted issue .. works for some and not for others. I had a feeling I pushed the boundaries of the tilt on these shots a little too much.
