Are you referring to online gallery proofs, or actual lab prints/proofs? I think your time is good though. I usually try to get the online proof gallery up in 4-7 days. Typically I will have the 4x6 lab proofs inserted in proof books ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks.

Two weeks is great. A girl I work with had to wait three months. In my contract I say proofs take four weeks, or sometimes longer in summer. At the moment i'm in the middle of my busiest time of the year, proofs are taking me three weeks, and predesigned albums are taking another two weeks. Some times I can have proofs ready in a few days, if i'm up to date.
The key is to communicate times with your customers in advance. Two weeks or two months is fine as long as they know.

My contract says 4 weeks, though I usually have a gallery up after a week or two and prints a week after they are ordered (timeline up to the bride and groom). So you're right on target. I know girls who went MONTHS without seeing their wedding pictures. One girl had to wait FIVE months.

Two weeks is very good. We try for two weeks, but it usually ends up being 3... during the busy season it gets out to 4 weeks.

2 weeks is good if you're talking from shoot date to proofs on the web. I usually have a slideshow of select photos the day after a wedding (but I stay up all night to do it, and very minimal editing). The rest of the photos and final edits within 2 weeks of the wedding... My clients seem to love this time frame...
