Hello Spring

Here's a shot of a bee saying hello to spring.

20D, Canon 100mm, f2.8, macro

Not sure if the out of focus petal in the front is distracting or if the bee being in focus is good enough. Let me know what you think.

When I looked at it I noticed the bee first and then the orange color. Once I read what you said about the petal I noticed it, so I do not think it is that distracting. I think the petal kind of draws you eye to the subject. Great Shot! I would love to shoot bee shots, but I am to darn afraid of them. :o
