You couldn't have gotten #2 to be any more dead nut centered, nice timing. If it wasn't for the darn nose wheel being slightly turned to the right the picture would have been flawless. Great set all around!

Now that was entirely on purpose...
Had the nosewheel been straight, it would have lacked a certain dynamic of motion that I was trying to acheive!
(And if you believe that, I have some ocean-front property in Yuma going cheap!)
Thanks!

Is that like prop blur, but for jets?

In lieu of first-stage compressor blur, yes... ;)

I love #2.
It sure was nice of them to paint the nose black to eliminate the self portrait :-)

Great shots! I've been seeing a few Talons around KTLH. I even saw 2 NASA Talon's sitting at the FBO here, but no camera. Even had some F-22s.

Thanks very much. Always efforting. Air Show this weekend so there will be plenty of stuff ahead!

My fav too. You just can't beat government issue dulling spray, ya know? ;)

IMO, the T-38 is a true classic. Glad you like the pics.

What! You won't be at Bristol?
I hope you had your ear protection on. Those 38s are deafeningly high pitched!
If you ever get near BFF, Jay, send up a flare!

Great pictures of a great aircraft. Flew the Talon in 1971.

Nope... No Bristol this year. Tough one to pass up as I love the racing there but I needed a JP fix!!
If I end up in the neighborhood, I'll be sure to let you know!

It's a helluva piece of optical engineering. I strive to live up to its standards...

When my Dad was stationed on Randolph, I used to love going over to the airfield and lay in the grass where I could watch them fly circuits all day long doing touch and gos. Nice set Jay.

We moved to the Phoenix area just about the time the AF sold "Willie"
I bet having a ramp full of T-38s must have been very, very cool to see.

Yep...and the T-37's. It was nice back when they were a little more lax about people being near the airfield so long as we did not cross the line...that was replaced by barriers, further back.

Ah yes the T-37 .. aka "The Converter" as it converted kerosene into noise...

Great shots of one of my favorite aircraft. Question: Do you happen to have any shots of USAF F-111A's (especially in 474th or 57th TFW colors)?
