I would like to know what would be a good home light kit to purchase. I want to have a studio at home, and I don't know what to buy.
I saw the Killer Bees in my Photography Magazine and liked that set up it looked small and portable. Any help. :)

Thanks

Depends on what you want and how much you have to spend. I would look at the Digi bee package from Alienbee's, for $599 you get two B400 strobes, two stands, two umbrella's and the carrying cases.

No the Vagabond you have to buy seperately.

I use 3 SP Excalibur 3200's. They are available from B&H with umbrellas, lightstands, and case included.

I also have Excaliburs... a 6400, 3200 and 1600. If you need light stands and umbrellas their price is really good as they come with very good light stands and umbrellas. I've been using them for over 4 years without problems other than have to replace a modeling lamp twice and a fuse once (it blew at the same time the modeling lamp did). I'm planning on buying another one, probably another 3200 since I have a small area that I shoot in, usually doing light tent work, so I don't need a lot of light but more than the 1600 will give me.

I added the 2'x3' soft box and Beauty Disk reflector to the SP's.

For a hair light what should I get and will the light sets that have been talked ablout support the additional light? (Alienbees)
