VOTE: Help choose a Logo! (7 to choose)

In my previous thread; Critique my prototype logo! (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=660687) I asked everybody for their input on which direction I could take my logo. I have since hired a graphic designer (she's great by the way, PM for her email) and she has done the first revision according to my comments.

You will notice there are different gradents, "Web 2.0" style bubbles, and reflections... All of these elements can be changed around. Right now I want you to focus on the basic shape, the design concept itself.


Here are the preliminary revisions:

Toss up between 6 & 7 - I could be convinced on either one, it really depends on which colour you want representing first/last name. I voted for 7 merely because the black S offsets the N. In 6 the black N tends to overpower the S.

Not sure the reflection works for me as a logo. On the web, yes, but you'll need a version without it for print.

Nice design - and very close to what you originally had in mind.

Not sure what color I want representing my first/last. I'm thinking Nick Simcheck however for the most part I will use my name in all black (or different shades of grey) and only orange for a highlight, like say:

I hope you don't mind an image edit, but I really dig number 5. I just want to see the "S" get a little bit of breathing room - so that it looks more like 1, 2, 6, & 7.

Honestly don't like any of them, 6/7 if any but think initials are just dry when used for a logo.

I agree with this. The other logos (especially 1-4) look like a "Z" and not a "S"
