Use the Clone Stamp tool. Looks like a rubber stamp in the toolbox.
What this does is copy a bit of the image from A to B. So select the clone stamp tool, hold down Alt and select a bit of sky close to the wire to keep the shading the same. Then let go of the Alt and click on the wire. If you don't press Alt again, the selection space will move with the cursor, so you can run along the whole wire.
Hope that helps you. PS is a tough cookie to get your teeth into at first

If the wires are straight you can use the clone tool together with the shift key. Choose a suitable sized brush to clone with and select the clone tool, press Alt on your keyboard and whilst keeping it pressed select (left click) an area close to the wires that you will 'copy' over the wire. Release the mouse button and Alt key.
Starting at the beginning of the wire left click (the wire under the cursor should now have gone), go to the end of the wire hold down the Shift key and left click again. PS will clone a straight line between the first and last click effectively removing those 'pesky' straight wires.

If the wires aren't straight, forget the Shift key part and just drag the cursor from the start point to the end as smoothly as possible.
