Seeing how every self powered tester I've used can tell me if the battery has power, but not (accurately) how much!

There are two different versions, one does all the basics + 9V while the other does all the basics + 3V.

Otherwise they are the same...

I'm currently using the one with all the basics + 9V for my 4th Grader son's science fair project. It's pretty simple to use and tells you how much a battery has in terms of 20%, 40%, 80% and above in power. When the power is somewhere between these categories, then you do get different readings. For example, one time it'd read 40%, and the next testing would read 60%, and so on back and forth. Then I'd read it as roughly 50% or so.

It's rather small, about the size of an iPod.
