Yes i'm professional, no I don't use a bracket. I used to, but I found them annoying to use, and mostly useless. The only time I would even potentially use one is when the bride comes up the alter, and it that case maybe it would be helpful, but I can get away with ambient and high ISO every time.

I use off camera flash a lot, so I could just rig up a radio slave and hand hold the flash... hey that's a good idea, I might do that.

I used to use them... but haven't now for a couple of years. I found them cumbersome, and they added more weight than I wanted to carry around all day...

I use a tiny tiny bracket, and only so that I can mount both a pocketwizard and a 580 on my camera at the same time. But now with the pocketwizard miniTT1, I can trash the bracket and mount the 580 on top of the PW! Brilliant! I can't wait!

I made one myself from aluminum I bought at home depot. Most of the flash brackets out there make you turn the camera the wrong way so it's unnatural when you want to shoot portrait orientation, so I made my own. It's in my avatar.

I used my Strobo flip bracket at a beach wedding last night. I am getting more and more tired of using it and may just shelve it.

I shudder at the sight of flash brackets. But in all seriousness, I've never used one, and never needed to.
