Ok so currently I have this bag for my gear. I ordered it based on all the reviews it has on Amazon and it was cheap obviously. My one concern when I ordered it was that it didn't look really sturdy. This is the only camera bag I have ever owned and now that I have all my gear it is getting decently heavy. All my gear fits inside, even the 400 f/5.6. Now my concern isn't the gear inside really, it's that I want to take my tripod (055XPROB, 488RC2 head) with me on hikes when I go. I know everyone says that tripod is too heavy to hike with but I'll manage... as long as the bag can handle it.
I don't know if I am going to be bringing the 400mm on longer hikes or not but it's certainly a possibility. I will definitely be bringing my other three lenses.
So does anyone have any experience with this type of situation? I don't have a scale on hand to weigh everything but it feels pretty hefty when fully loaded. Does anyone have some recommendations for a sturdier bag?
