no F22 Raptor in UK airshows?

i've been checking airshows this year and no F22 listed.... is this right? :(
were they ticked off coz their displays were cancelled last year coz of the crappy weather???

and i was really looking forward to seeing them!

Deployment doesn't make a difference. The USAF has a dedicated F-22 Demo team that makes the rounds of the US air shows. I've seen the F-22 fly three times in the last year.

It may very well be they haven't established a European schedule as yet...

Hows your French ?
They are meant to be at the Paris airshow (centenary year) ....Eurostar return to Paris around £60 .

hmm - i think i'll pass on that one. but if they're going to paris, then they might be here in the UK too. it's just weird that the lists for airshow participants aint updated yet and i've missed the early bookings discount already

Paris is the only thing listed on the airforce demo listing site so it doesnt look good , fingers crossed theres a late decision maybe.

I have to say the F-22 Raptor is an awesome aircraft to see fly! I sure hope it gets to RIAT this year. I saw it at Nellis last year and it was fantastic.

i was lucky to chance seeing the F117 before they retired at RIAT and i sure would love to see the F22 this year!

I hope you do get to see it , I made a special effort to get to Farnborough last year and it was well worth it .:D

yeah - after RIAT got cancelled last year, i just couldn't make it to Farnborough the weekend after - too much travelling back and forth :-(
