something loose in s230

Hi, this is my first time posting here, so please go easy on me if this topic was already covered.

When I shake my s230, there seems to be something loose inside moving around. Does anyone else have this happening to their camera?

Also, the red-eye reduction lamp doesn't seem to fire off even when it is turned on. When I set it to slow-synchro mode, I can clearly see the flash go off twice, but when it is set back to just red-eye reduction mode, I can't see the flash go off twice.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

There are ball bearings inside the s230 which allow it to determine the orientation of the camera and adjust the LCD view appropriately. Mine make a slight rattling sound but not much.

Not sure about the red-eye reduction lamp. Mine works fine.
