Did you use a ND Grad filter for the sky? Looks like the tops of the hills are a little dark.

Did you try and have a go at a little longer exposure, maybe blurring the sea? I want to try that when I get time to visit the seaside. :D

Thanks rammy! I didn't use any filter. The tops of the hills are probably dark because it still quite early in the morning and they were still in the shadows.

I did do some blurry water shots during my stay. Here is an example:

I took the shot after the sun had set using a tripod and a one second shutter speed. If you have an ND filter, you can get the same effect during the day. My old G3 had one built in, but I haven't got around to buying one for my drebel yet.
