Any thoughts of a canon 24 f/1.4 mk1 used with a 40D for weddings

Should work fine. 24mm is a decent length, I use the Sigma 30mm which is a good length for me.

I know a guy that uses the 24 on an XTI. He really seems to like it.

It's good, not a really sharp lens but its 1.4 and you can't really get 1.4 at that focal length any other way.

If you want a FAST 24mm prime, it would work fine. What other thoughts are you looking for? Do you like shooting at 24mm on a 40D?
