Well, I'm a bit lost here.
I am searching for a battery Grip for my Canon EOS 450D but there are so many grips that I dont know which one to choose...
I am searching a grip that has battery's and not a fixed rechargeable battery but one(well usually more battery's) I can change.

My budget is around €200,- which (in my op opinion:p) should be enough.
I hope that someone can help me out with this problem.
Thank you for al the advice :)

Have you looked at the stock grip?

Phottix through Etefore (Hong Kong Supplies) on ebay. I have their 40D version & its great, i have shot with it a lot, even on days off-roading in landrovers etc. and it still holds strong. When i first got it i thought i would take it off a lot of the time unless i was planning to shoot vertically a lot, but i find leaving it on wonderful, so it never leaves now. There are loads of topics on this subject & a lot recommend the Phottix.

Cheers

AFAIK they all take the standard Canon battery, and can use either 1 or 2 of those at a time. None I'm aware of have an irremovable rechargeable.

Thanks for all the comments :).

for the confusion: I didn't knew if a grip could hold double A battery's as a standard or that only specific models could hold double a battery's.
Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the information and the links, never ordered something from E-Bay but I will have a look of how it works, thanks again :)

I second the Phottix grip. Also on a 40D. Built very well, imo, and I have used it for about 1000 portrait orientation shots since I got it. Buttons etc. are still working, so that is a good sign :-)

I have the YongNou grip that I purchased from Deal Extreme http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.14865~r.58547694 for $73.45US, and havent had a problem with it yet in the 6 months or so I have had it. After getting the grip I did some research into it (or at least tried to) and if my conclusions are correct it is the same grip as the Phottix one without any brand markings on it (the ID plate on the bottom of the grip that would say Phottix, Canon, P.O.T.N, etc... is blank, there is nothign there).

As mentioned here there are plenty of optins for getting the grip for under €200.

Jon- IIRC the Trevor battery grip for the XSi/450D had an irremovable battery in it.

I got this one on E-Bay and love it. It also comes with two batteries what a bonus. Operates perfectly and I got it in about 2 1/2 weeks.

Just received mine tonight for my XTi. Took 11 business days from payment to delivery. Haven't had a chance to charge up the batteries but it even works with just one battery. I have a feeling that I'm never taking it off. Don't hesitate. Get it.
