So I think I've confused myself. I currently own a 580exII and now want to take the plunge on a second flash. I use cybersyncs and and want to continue using that system for future flash units.
Any suggestions on the next flash? I was thinking of sticking with the Canon brand but is there any units other then the 580exII that has a PC sync port? I was also taking a look at the LumoPro LP120...
Thoughts?
Thanks!

I bought a Sigma EF530 DG Super as my second flash. It was about $220 and works superbly for me in both manual and ETTL modes. And also with cybersyncs in manual. And why do you care about a sync port on the flash? You can always get a hotshoe with sync port.

Whoa..I totally gapped out and forgot about hotshoe adapters. Can hot shoe adapters be used on lightstands?

In your case, I would just add another 580EX II. I have one MKII and two MKI 580EX flashes, but I use the wireless ETTL when using these. Otherwise, I break out the Alien Bees.

If you going only manual get a LumoPro, seems like a great value. If you want ETTL I would look at one of the Canon EX series. If you want a built in syncport you only have the 580 EX II to choose from although there is an available foot mod from FlashZebra you could get for the original 580 EX.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I've used ETTL once since purchasing my 580exII in November, I shoot fully manual so it's not a problem. I will definately check out the LumoPro. :D

Nikon SB-2x or Sunpak 544/555, that's if you plan to shoot in only manual.

I agree. The SB2X series are incredible flashes for the money used
