Just a few from the game. This was a very slow and boring game. Didn't get much but here is what I thought was some of the best. C&C welcome and appreciated!

Few thoughts:
1 - You gotta face but it's not a pretty follow-through and his pants look overcooked with a hint of CA around the fringe.
2 - Pants are overcooked again. Funky crop. I prefer landscape orientation when shooting pitchers from the side.
3 - Exposure looks better here ... but I usually cull backside action shots.
4 - Seems overly hot. Crop tighter.
5 - Nice sportrait-type shot. Best of the bunch.
6 - Seem too hot again and the look of his throwing arm makes me grimace. I'd cull it too.

I think they look okay but show a 1/3 to 2/3 hot! The cropping may work for some.

Agreed on them being a touch hot and on 5 being the winner here. What was your sharpening routine on these? I ask since I think they could all stand a touch stronger. Certainly not oof at all, just a little soft, almost like nothing was done in post and the AA filter is just doing its job. If you did sharpen, another pass might crisp em up a bit more.

They have not been sharpened at all. Really still trying to figure out exposure on my new monitor. I have adjusted and would like new feedback especially on exposure!
Thanks!

These images look great color wise, but why no sharpening IMHO if your going to take the time to post images make them look their best. IMHO these images look like they need to be sharpened.

Hey Matt,
I thought I would take a peek at your website as long as I was viewing your sports shots here. Very nice by the way.
I think your website is fantastic and your portfolio is great. I wanted to mention two things from my experience on your website. On the testimonial page the writing is light like the background and I had some trouble reading it until I adjusted the angle of my laptop. The other thing is that it took me awhile to notice that the scroll bar was on the top left side of your "about me" page.
Such little things to mention, compared to the great images you have posted there, but I just wanted to give you a couple thoughts from someone who has never looked at your site before.

but why no sharpening
Dont have CS3 and my workflow added to my new system yet.... just trying to nail color and exposure first. Will be updating this weekend and be back to my usual setup.
Thanks for your feedback!
