these are 2 of my son's favorite pics from this w-end's playoff game. would appreciate some help making a few adjustments to improve the IQ and please tell me what and how you did it so i can learn for next time. thanks rob

I'd say make the shutter speed faster. Also get as much of the faces as you can :)

First, The ice seems to be blown out to me. Also the White Balance seems to be off. Exif Data with your settings would help with the diagnosis. (Doesn't show up for me)

Try to keep the horizons correct and punch the colors up a bit.

The first one is the best, not a fan of the backs of players even with the puck frozen in the action.

thanks for the comments. while the second shot was not ideal, as mentioned it was one of my son's favorite as this was his 3rd goal to complete his hat trick and the puck hit the post and went in. so despite the lack of photo appeal, this photo is priceless to us. :D
