Boring shot?

I finally got around to playing with the 100Macro my sister and cousins got me for Christmas. I'm not really sure what to do with it... I set this up on a tripod and just wanted to see it's capabilities. First macro shot... boring/cliche?

i think its pretty cool. very simple but provides a close look that you never see. you never look at the texture that much on a dollar bill and it makes me kinda wonder where my coins have been......

Wow, that looks awfully oversharpened now that I look at it. Toning it down a bit.

Anyway... thanks for the encouragement. I was just testing the lens out, but had difficulty trying to find a nearby object to get a close up on. I found that dirty quarter in my coin jar and I thought to pull out a creased dollar bill. I may reshoot it as sort of a statement of our sense of freedom in a worn economy. My roommate actually liked it and suggested to put it up as artwork. It's not worth to be put on the wall... but I may find some use for it.
