Eclipses across the diagonal

Had a play with regards composition today. I would welcome your comments on whether this works or not.

It's an interesting composition, that's for sure.

I'd have played with a slightly looser crop myself (allowing more blue space). This photo appears to be oversharpened somewhat, but it's a good idea to explore.

Here's an edit, less sharpened and less PP, oh and a little less cropped too.

the second crop is better, you may want to play with the saturation a bit as well.
