Hi,
I've included an original shot, and a version of it I've fiddled with in lightroom, but I'm not keen on the finished article, and having shown it to a friend, neither did he. However, he didn't give any advice on how to improve it :p
Any help or advice on what I could do to make the shot nicer would be much appreciated.

Thanks very much,

Sam

Edit: I know the sky has blown in a big way, but this was an action shot and I didn't know where he was going to end up, so I ended up shooting into the sun. I'm more after help/another pair of eyes with the processing bit.

personally I'm not a huge fan of this type of PP, but for what it is it's nice.

I would try adding a touch of contrast, if it were my photo.

Also, do you also ride trials?

Thanks for the input... And yes, I do, or atleast I did. A dislocated shoulder has made riding much more difficult/painful now. I'm spending a lot more time on my BMX instead, as it's a lot less stress on the joint. I still try to ride as much as possible though.

ok, given it another crack. Bit happier with it this time. How could it be improved further?

Maybe a cross between your first and second edits. I like the sky and water from the first edit. Bike is better looking in the first but could use some contrast (less than in the second edit though). The person however looks good in the second edit (less like a color pencil drawing).

The edits are producing an artifact between the rock and the bottom of the front tire.

Other than that problem, the edits are best in file 3377016596_2242b22efb.jpg
