I was curious as to what lenses do you guys shoot with at an auto show. There is one coming up this weekend and I am not sure of what I could or should bring. Any ideas?

I should have stated what I have...
18-55 Kit lens(non usm, non is)
hopefully a 50mm f1.8
and a 75-300mm Kit lens(non usm, non is)

I really think that the 50mm is going to be my best bet, but am going to look at getting another lens before the show.

If the show is at night, than the f1.8 can help you with the lighting, but I'm afraid it won't be wide enough...
You will have to stand a considerable distance from the cars, which mean a lot of people can go and walk in front of your camera.

If you can still get another lens, try to get a really wide one (something like 10mm, but watch out for distortion)

It's not ideal, but you should be OK with the Kit lens If you shoot wide & be careful with your shutter speed.

10-22 = show/meet favorite

you can fit the whole car in even with very little room.

Just bring your widest lens, leave the rest at home.
