Agree with this. It makes them seem out of focus, really.

+1 Too much glow. Other than that, colors and composition looks good.

Technically wise, I really like both shots, but I agree with the PP, too much glow.

If that's (overuse of glow) what's doing it... fine... it can be fixed... but from my perspective, they just look too oof... Compositionally they are fine--the first is really good actually. I just wish for more focus or less glow...

I used an action in CS3 to boost color, saturation & soften the image at the same time, I overdid the softness layer & now I can't find the original image. Thanks for the CC everyone, I'll have to work more on PP. ;)

I always save my original and then work on copies... I lost a few prized shots earlier that I would never be able to replicate and said "never again"...
