Looks good.

My two suggestions are:

1) Don't switch back to the empty image (e.g. Motorsport) when the cursor moves off a thumbnail. Just leave the last picture up until the user hovers over another thumbnail. This will give a smoother transition when going from picture to picture.

2) Create a "loading...." image to use a placeholder for when the user hovers over a thumbnail before the larger image is loaded. I'm on a cable modem and there was still a pretty long delay.

Great start though.

I have a cable connection, tried 4 different times & the site hung on a white screen without fully loading. Your other 2 sites loaded right away. :(

I like your lay out, but loads really really really slow. Oh, I have broadband too.

I had no trouble loading the site. Regardless, I thought your images were very good. They showed the excitement of football (soccer to me) as well as the player. I am always a fan of an image that portrays a feeling.
