First portrait post. Taken with a Sigma 24-135 2.8, 10D, natural light. PSE minor contrast and a touch of fm's intellisharpen. I hate the lens and have pretty much relegated it to a shelf collecting dust.

Maybe its my monitor but the face seems overexposed and/or overprocessed. How much is the fault of the lens I couldn't guess but in spite of it all you can still see a very pretty face there.

Overexposed. This was right after I got my 10D, very bright day, sitting in the shade with light bouncing up off of the sidewalk. Very flat.

Huh? am i tired or did you post a pictur ethat you then critqued and then fixed? its like me asking you "how do you like my pants, even though i know they are bad, and i tell you what i need to do to fix them....why did i bother asking you what you thought of my pants if i knew they were bad. what you should be doing is posting pictures you think are GOOD, then see what we dont like about it....

well it sure doesnt make sense to "show off" a picture you know has problems. kinda like taking your clunker down to an auto show and standing by it saying hey wont this car be cool when.........
