never tried doing an HDR image but thought hey, why not, i'm in NYC. :cool:
ran it through photomatix.

You mean the steam or the brightness on the lower parts of the buildings being higher than on the upper parts?

that's the steam coming up from the buildings. it was a cold february day.

Looks good to me. Did you have a ND Grad filter on? Just trying to figure out why the tops of some of those taller buildings look so dark.

The hdr process makes the steam look like an explosion. Still nice conversion!
