Which lens? For the 24-105, the Pro1 would be the way to go. I don't know if the 12-24 needs a thin, but I wouldn't consider any Hoya but the S-HMC.

For my 10-22 I have the Pro1 Super Thin, the third one on the list...

An ordinary cheapo Hoya passes 93-94% of the light
The Hoya HMC (multicoated) passes 97%
The Hoya SHMC (super multicoated) passes 99.7% of the light
The Hoya digital passes 97% of the light.
The Hoya HD passes less light than the SHMC, but more than the Hoya digital!...

I'll get the thin one...at least I can use it on wide angle too. It's the most expensive though and for like 20 bucks more I can get the B+W Kaesman. hmmmmmm

Thanks!

OP posted that...said it was HVSTAR as the vendor

Then get the B+W Kaesemann...excellent filter, and I doubt that you'd need a slim version either. I use the standard B+W F-Pro Kaesemann CPL on a 5D/17-40L and 30D/10-22 (before I sold the lens) without any vignetting.

Also, do some searches in this forum...many Hoya users (can't remember which Hoya CPL model, but not all) have been reported to come apart unexpectedly due to a retaining ring problem. You may want to stick with B+W to avoid that problem.
