So I managed to weasle my way down to the cut-outs in the glass again to take some shots during warmups during the Rangers-Senators game at MSG. In my first attempt from there, I often cut off players skates, etc., because I wasn't used to shooting from so close. This time I was more mindful of it. Since its during warmups though, not great game action.

Excellent work Rob! The eyes on Lundqvist make that shot. Good job on getting the flex on Avery's stick too.

#2, #4 are excellent captures!

They're all great, but those stand out to me.

Thanks guys. I was a little unhappy with the motion blur in a few. I was at ISO 1600, 2.8, 1/500. I could have ramped up the ISO a bit to get a faster shutter speed but chose not to... might be a better idea next time though (just afraid of the extra noise that might come with it).

might be my friend's laptop that I'm on, the whites look blown out.

They look fine to me on 2 computers I've used. Nothing is clipped in any of the pics' histograms either. Maybe I'm crazy, anyone else think they are blown?

I just shot some hockey -- I think next time I'd take a touch of blur in return for lower ISO, even on an MKIII.

As for blown whites, if there's no detail, it doesn't matter. ;}

I expose for the faces myself.
